About
The Firm
Synaesthesia was founded on a simple observation: the most culturally significant moments happening in entertainment right now are not happening in music alone, or in gaming alone. They are happening at the intersection — and almost nobody who operates there has actually built there, at scale, with the world's biggest artists and franchises.
Synaesthesia is a boutique consultancy. That word — boutique — is intentional. It means we do not take on more than we can do exceptionally well. It means every client works directly with senior people who have done this before. It means we are not a vendor. We are a partner, brought in when the stakes are high and the work needs to be right.
We work across three integrated capabilities: production consultancy for game studios, creative services for artists, labels, and brands, and technology development for those who need custom tools or real-time visual systems. These are not separate service lines — they are one capability, assembled specifically for this moment in entertainment history.
The Founder

JP Kellams has spent his career building experiences that shouldn't exist yet.
As lead producer of Fortnite Festival from its launch in December 2023 through March 2026, JP oversaw every season of one of the most ambitious music-gaming products ever created — coordinating artist partnerships, production teams, and creative vision across a roster that included The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Metallica, Karol G, Snoop Dogg, Hatsune Miku, Sabrina Carpenter, Bruno Mars, Gorillaz, LISA, and Chappell Roan.
Fortnite Festival didn't just add music to a game. It redefined what a music platform could be — putting hundreds of millions of players on stage with the world's biggest artists, creating a new category of interactive entertainment in the process. JP built that, season by season, from the ground up.
Before Festival, JP produced Superstar KO for Madden NFL 20 — the mode that brought DJ Khaled, Lil Yachty, Snoop Dogg, Migos, and Joey Bada$$ onto the football field, replacing traditional sports game commentary with a DJ hypeman and wrapping every match in a festival-stadium atmosphere.
Earlier in his career, JP worked on Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance — a game whose soundtrack became one of the most culturally durable in gaming history, going viral years after release and proving something JP has always believed: that the right music in the right interactive context doesn't just enhance an experience — it defines it.
JP founded Synaesthesia because the intersection of gaming, music, and live experience is no longer a niche — it's the frontier of entertainment.
A Team For Your Moment
Synaesthesia operates on a per-project basis with a tight network of collaborators — producers, engineers, creative directors, and music supervisors who have each built significant work at the intersection of gaming and music. We bring in the right people for each engagement.
The Mark
The Synaesthesia mark is called the Intersecting Eclipse. A deep blue mass — stable, gravitational, the anchor — is interrupted at its core by a void that echoes the dark of the site itself. Not a hole, but a window.
Into that field bleed three smaller forms: pink, yellow, light blue. They don't sit cleanly inside or outside the anchor — they overlap it, screen over it, change color where they meet. This is additive mixing, not subtractive. Each element gains from the collision.
The form draws inspiration from Kandinsky's circles — his belief that color and shape carry their own emotional frequency, independent of representation. He called that phenomenon synaesthesia.
